Job description School St FRC is currently seeking an experienced Childcare worker for our city centre crche. Location We operate from a modern, purpose-built workplace crche in the heart of Dublin 8's Liberties. Reporting to the Crche Manager, the successful candidate will form part of a 20 staff team which provide childcare and to the Dublin 8 area. Established in 2006, we pride ourselves on offering a children first best practice centre with a welcoming atmosphere & many staff benefits available, we value our staff immensely! What we offer : Excellent salary scale Annual leave allowance of up to 21 days Support for further education and continuous professional development Car parking Qualifications and Skills Candidates must have the following : A minimum of Fetac Level 5 in Childcare A minimum of 2 years in the childcare field A strong passion for the needs and development of the individual child Garda vetting clearance (if successful) 2 validated references First Aid, Manual Handling and Child Protection is an advantage Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following : Ability to liaise with parents, guardians and families and build parent partnership Ability to line manage and supervise staff, supporting their continuous personal development Communicate effectively in a clear and professional manner at all times Manage and project occupancy levels Ability to meet targets and deadlines and manage finances within an allocated budget In depth knowledge of childrens age and stage appropriate holistic needs and development. Dedicated to raising standards in Early Learning and Education and will role model best practice to an outstanding level Ability to implement the companys curriculum, demonstrating the links between early childcare education, theory and practice in line with the National Framework Curriculum of Aistear & Siolta. Ensure observations and records of individual childrens progress are maintained and that childrens needs and interests identified through staff observations are reflected in planning. Ensure the health, safety and development needs of the children in our care are met at all times. Promote and maintain positive relationships with all staff & families. Motivate and support the staff team. Display kindness, warmth, and responsiveness to the needs of children and parents Documenting of curriculum Flexible and willing to substitute if required Work as part of a team Perform any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time Job Types : Full-time, Permanent Pay : €16.00-€20.00 per hour Benefits : Bike to work scheme On-site parking Sick pay Schedule : Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location : In person Benefits : Paid Holidays Parking
