About Us We are a growing charity organisation seeking an experienced and hands-on accounting professional to manage our day-to-day finance function.
This is a standalone role where you will work independently, report directly to management, and liaise with our external auditor at year-end.
The Role You will take ownership of the finance function, including : Managing accounts payable and receivable (invoices, payments, creditors, debtors).
Preparing and submitting ROS returns.
Maintaining accurate records and performing bank reconciliations.
Preparing monthly balance sheets and management reports for management.
Monitoring cashflow and assisting with budgeting / forecasting.
Payroll, You will be trained to process payroll as a backup.
Preparing year-end schedules and liaising with our external auditor.
Dealing with shipping agents for exports, ensuring documentation and payments are accurate and timely.
About You Minimum 3 years experience in an accounts technician / bookkeeper / assistant accountant role.
Confident working independently in a standalone finance role.
Strong knowledge of Revenue Online Service (ROS).
Experience with reconciliations and preparing monthly reports.
Excellent communication skills to report to management and liaise with auditors and shipping agents.
Accounting software experience (Sage, Xero, or similar).
Part-qualified ACCA / CPA / ATI an advantage, but experience is key.
What We Offer Competitive salary : €40k -€50k MondayFriday, 9 : 00am5 : 30pm (Friday finish 5 : 00pm).
