Sales Manager (Ireland) Flexible location Lincoln are currently working with an international manufacturing business to recruit a Sales Leadership role.
This role will have two direct reports & report into the Sales Director.
Regular travel is expected in this role throughout the island of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities : Develop and deliver a clear regional sales strategy aligned with business goals.
Drive sustainable growth in both volume and value.
Collaborate with technical, commercial, operations, and design teams to achieve commercial and customer excellence.
Manage the tender process, including contract renewals, negotiations, and pricing updates.
Oversee accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and sales reporting.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, using insights and surveys to inform account plans.
Support and challenge the team in preparing tenders, pitches, and customer proposals.
Monitor and improve team performance through KPIs, reviews, and regular coaching.
Ensure effective time planning, stock management, and adherence to service level agreements.
Foster collaboration with other regional managers to share best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Champion continuous improvement to deliver a market-leading customer experience.
Celebrate team and individual successes through effective communication.
Experience & Background Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
10+ years Sales experience including at least 3-5 years of managing a team.
Experience within corrugated, packaging, carton board, flexible packaging, or print industries preferable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Advanced negotiation and influencing skills.
