We are looking for a

Design Verification Engineer

to join our Dublin, Ireland team!

A new opportunity has arisen within the team at Curtiss-Wright.

We seek experienced HW Test Engineers capable of verifying the fitness of individual modules and complex instrumentation systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience in schematic capture, PCB design review, system and module debugging, regression testing, and fluent Python 3 for automation.

This position offers significant opportunities for professional development, working with emerging technologies in a team-based environment for prestigious aerospace clients.

As our Design Verification Engineer, you will design tests (jigs and scripting) for analog and digital circuits and liaise with designers and technical management to resolve issues in our Aerospace Instrumentation division.

Your Responsibilities :

Liaise with designers to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles are observed.

Develop test suites covering all design goals as per datasheets and standards.

Design tests for analog and digital circuits.

Investigate and resolve exceptions.

Document results and exceptions thoroughly.

Collaborate with designers and management to resolve issues.

Transfer type testing routines to production tests where appropriate.

Approve engineering documentation such as schematics and BOMs.

Contribute to datasheets and develop departmental procedures.

Stay updated on current technologies and market trends.

Coordinate with program managers, support teams, and external bodies on product certification.

Requirements :

Degree or equivalent qualification.

3+ years in hardware verification or development (5+ preferred).

Extensive knowledge of analog and digital electronics.

Hands-on experience with Python 3; C / C++ is a plus.
