Project manager

Group Project Manager - Agri / Food Sector Location : Offaly, Ireland We're looking for an experienced Group Project Manager to take on a senior role within a leading agri-food business.

This person will be part of the senior management team, driving projects that support the company's strategy and future growth.

The role will involve managing large-scale capital projects across multiple sites, covering factories and farms, and working closely with leadership to deliver real impact.

What you'll be doing Leading the design and delivery of major development and capital projects.

Preparing business cases and CAPEX proposals, from concept through to approval.

Planning projects from start to finish : budgets, timelines, resources, and KPIs.

Coordinating teams, contractors, and consultants to deliver on time and within budget.

Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring project outcomes meet expectations.

Overseeing multiple projects at once, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards are met.

Driving improvements in project management processes and mentoring managers in best practices.

Creating clear reporting tools and dashboards to keep leadership up to speed on progress.

Supporting wider business growth by identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation.

What we're looking for Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Process, or related) with Project Management qualifications.

At least 10 years' experience, including 4+ years in project management within food, agriculture, engineering, or construction.

Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong communicator who can work at senior leadership and board level.

Comfortable managing diverse teams, multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities.

Skilled in project management software and confident working with data and KPIs.

Problem solver, proactive, and able to adapt to changing demands.
