Project Quantity Surveyor

Company Intro / Summary A leading Tier One main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. With a proven track record in delivering landmark construction projects across Ireland, the company is recognised for its innovation, technical excellence, and collaborative culture. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute QS to play a key role in high-value projects while progressing their career within one of Irelands most respected contractors. Responsibilities Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of assigned construction projects from tender through to final account. Prepare and review budgets, cost plans, and procurement documentation. Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management. Monitor project costs, valuations, and variations, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Provide commercial advice and value engineering input to optimise project delivery. Prepare monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts. Support junior team members and contribute to a strong commercial culture within the team. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline. 46 years post-graduate experience in a QS role, ideally with a Tier One or large main contractor. Proven experience working on large-scale building or civil projects. Strong understanding of Irish construction contracts and procurement methods. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software tools. Ambitious and proactive, with a desire to progress within a market-leading organisation. Package Salary : €65,000 €75,000 DOE. Full-time, permanent position based in Dublin.
