Management Accountant

Teamworx are delighted to partner with this family-run business with operations in both the UK and Ireland, employing 240 staff.

This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing finance team of 5, reporting to the Financial Controller at the busy head office in Maynooth.

This hands-on role requires advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software.

You will manage multiple entities across the UK and Ireland, producing management accounts for review and consolidation, along with other finance duties.

Role Responsibilities & DutiesProducing monthly management accounts for review and consolidationPreparing and posting prepayment & accrual journals on SageAssisting with monthly stock reconciliation and cost analysis versus budgetConducting balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balancesSupporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc reporting and operational queriesPreparing VAT returns (UK & Ireland), Intrastat, payroll returns, and CSO reportingLiaising with auditorsAssisting with projects to improve internal controlsProviding cover and support for AP, AR, and Payroll functionsOffering holiday cover and backup for the Financial Controller as neededWhat You'll Need to SucceedProficiency in IT, especially Microsoft ExcelWorking knowledge of Sage software (advantageous but not required)Relevant qualification — qualified accountant or experienced accountant capable of producing management accountsStrong communication skills, with the ability to question and clarify details, and communicate effectively with stakeholdersPositive attitude and ability to multitaskExcellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlinesTeam player, flexible to business needs and month-end processesHigh attention to detail and accuracy in reportingDiscretion when handling sensitive informationIf you are an experienced management accountant seeking to join a progressive company, please contact Denise Brady or Elaine Coen Byrne at 045 898037 or
