Housekeeper, Private Residence

Excel Recruitment are currently seeking a part-time H ousekeeper for a private family home in South Dublin. This is a permanent position offering 20-25 hours per week, with morning shifts Monday to Friday from 8 / 9 am (4 hours per day) . The role is based in a large, well-kept residence and would suit someone who is reliable, discreet, and looking for a long-term position within a respectful and professional household.

The successful candidate will be employed directly under PAYE (not cash-in-hand), with a starting date as soon as possible. The hourly rate is €20-€22, depending on experience.

The household is run by a professional family, full training and guidance will be provided during the initial period. This is a long-term role and the family is looking for someone they can build a lasting relationship with.

Housekeeper responsibilities :

Daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas

Dusting, mopping, and surface cleaning

Laundry and ironing

Changing bed linens

General upkeep of the home

Housekeeper requirements :

Reliable, trustworthy, and discreet

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential

Must be eligible to work in Ireland (PAYE employment only)

Looking for a long-term position – the previous housekeeper was with the family for 17 years so they would like to hire someone that can become a family friend over the years
