We're seeking an experienced Production Leader to lead a critical manufacturing operation.

About the Role : As the Senior Manager, you will take full responsibility for people, quality, customer service, and cost performance within a high-profile production unit.

You'll play a key role in aligning strategic goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving continuous improvement in line with company values and behavioural standards.

Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Production Unit in collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and other cross-functional partners.

Lead and support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.

Partner with Finance, HR, Quality, and Production Planning to optimize departmental performance and foster strong employee engagement and communication.

Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production demands while cultivating cross-functional relationships.

Coach and develop direct reports and wider teams, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and lifelong learning.

Oversee and manage department budgets and operational costs to meet business objectives.

Lead efforts to achieve customer service targets and optimal inventory levels while maintaining high quality and regulatory compliance.

Promote continuous improvement and innovation across all levels of the department.

Cultivate a risk-aware culture, proactively addressing potential issues that could impact production or product quality.

Ensure regulatory, GMP, and environmental compliance, working closely with EHS to manage environmental impacts.

Drive operational excellence and functional excellence initiatives to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Skills & Competencies : Strong leadership and people development skills with a focus on coaching, relationship-building, and communication.

Expertise in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, and systems thinking.

Skilled in change management, particularly in cultural transformation.

High level of organizational awareness and business acumen.

Proficiency in manufacturing line layout and flow design.

Strong project management and strategic thinking abilities.

Knowledge of supply chain management, capacity planning, and financial management.

Education & Experience Requirements : Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

8-10+ years of experience in an operations / manufacturing environment, ideally in the medical device or highly regulated industry e.g. automotive, pharmaceutical etc. 5+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in complex environments.
