FINANCE DIRECTOR

Principal Connections - executive search has been retained by a highly successful and ambitious international contract services company in its search to appoint for the crucial post of Finance Director. THE POSITION Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Finance Director will be responsible for leading the financial operations, strategy, and planning for the Irish group. They will oversee financial performance, manage risks, ensure compliance, and monitor operational efficiency. With a direct impact on the company's growth and success, the appointee will partner with the leadership team to develop and execute a forward-thinking financial strategy. REQUIREMENTS Suitably qualified and interested candidates will hold a professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and be operating at or near Finance Director / Chief Financial Officer standing. Alternatively, individuals operating at a sufficiently senior level from a Big 4 accountancy firm may have the skillset we require. Additionally, candidates will be comfortable operating in a group structure, with M&A experience desirable. Core competencies will include but not be limited to exceptional leadership and strategic vision together with high levels of commercial acumen, communication, decision making and results orientation.
