Oliver James is hiring a Lead Solution Architect - Midrange / Core Technologies (Life400 | iSeries | AS400) on behalf of a leading financial services client in Dublin. This is a key contract role focused on shaping core technology strategy, leading platform upgrades, and integrating midrange systems into the wider technology estate. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Life400 on iSeries (AS400) and a track record of leading technical delivery in complex environments. Contract details : 6-month rolling contract Day rate 2 days onsite per week in Dublin city centre What you'll be doing : Leading solution design and delivery across core midrange platforms Driving upgrades, integration, and change initiatives Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to ensure robust, sustainable solutions Aligning solutions with enterprise architecture and governance standards Supporting delivery teams throughout the full project lifecycle What we're looking for : Strong experience with Life400 on iSeries (AS400) Proven leadership in solution architecture and technical delivery Knowledge of COBOL, SQL, IBM WebSphere, Mainframe, and MSP environments Background in financial services, with experience delivering to tight deadlines If you're a solution-driven architect ready to lead impactful change in a high-performing team, we'd love to hear from you.
