We’re working with a leading tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Foreman in Tallaght . The successful candidate will be joining a Restoration development.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day construction activities on projects within the education and residential sectors.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
  • Supervise and lead on-site personnel, providing guidance and support to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers to interpret and implement project drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety standards, taking corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the on-site team.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and clients, to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Manage and track construction materials, equipment, and resources, ensuring efficient utilization and procurement as needed.
  • Report on project status, challenges, and achievements to project management and stakeholders regularly.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration among on-site personnel, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Foreman in the construction industry, with a track record of successful delivery of projects in excess of €50m
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate on-site teams.
  • Ability to interpret and implement project drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction project management software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of budgetary constraints and the ability to manage resources efficiently.
  • Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety protocols on-site.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work flexible hours as required by project demands.
