Job description

Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer who is looking to be a part of key projects, with a dynamic and progressive engineering company?

Rockwell are seeking a lead mechanical project engineer to join an exciting mechanical engineering project initially based in the Dublin region, on a permanent & full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Generate project schedules in conjunction with project team.
Monitor project work progress.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
Project engineering submissions and value engineering.
Project procurement and materials management.
Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.
Designing and modelling in 3D using Autodesk 3D software.
Evaluating final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.
Interacting and managing Clients, CMT, Suppliers, and other stakeholders
Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging including walking down of P&ID's, and layout drawings.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience :

Relevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building Services

Knowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.

Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.

Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
