We are now looking to recruit enthusiastic people who strive for excellence to join our team.Motor Vehicle Technician (Start date : Immediately) : Bloomfield Garage have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Motor Mechanic / Technician, to join our busy and expanding team.This job entails working in a very busy workshop, so experience is essential. Ongoing training can be provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of vehicle servicing and diagnostics. Be capable of producing quality work in a busy fast paced environment.The Ideal Candidate Will : Must have experience with German Manufactured VehiclesBe a fully qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic (Hybrid / Electric qualification would be an advantage)Have a proven track record in Diagnostics and Modern Vehicle ElectronicsDisplay an ability to work to High StandardsWork well under pressureBe a team playerHave good Verbal and Written EnglishKey Responsibilities : To Service & Repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and Bloomfield Garage quality standardsUsing diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach and ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified.Liaise with service team to identify and clearly understand problems as and when requiredEnsure full understanding of Latest Technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on themCarry out diagnosis / repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specificationEnsure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and othersLiaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specifiedComplete relevant service documentation in line with Bloomfield workshop requirementsEnsure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal toolsWork with other workshop colleagues to provide excellent customer service.
