Management accountant - dublin 2 - 4 days per week

Management Accountant Dublin 2 Sole contributor up to €60,000 4 days This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced, qualified accountant to join a small but growing business.

In any small business, finance is never just finance, there will be lots of interaction with the owners, customers and suppliers.

Your input will be valued and required for the whole team to succeed and for the business to grow.

Your will be expected to contribute beyond finance and to work across operations.

Reporting to Owner and weekly to fractional CFO Responsibilities Accounts receivable, ensuring debtor days are kept to a minimum and invoices are sent out on time and chased if / when necessary and appropriate Accounts payable, ensuring full oversight of cashflow, agreeing payment terms, and good communication channels with suppliers Month-end profit & loss, understanding & analysing variances, highlighting concerns and providing solutions Balance sheet & bank reconciliations Payroll oversight VAT & Tax returns are paid on time Assist with Audit process, budgets & preparing management accounts, again providing insights & commentary for stakeholders Requirements Ideally qualified or qualified by experience Ability to work and fit into a small team, personality & attitude will be key to success in this role Agile, with an open approach, this is a small business and your ability to turn your hand to random projects when needed will be essential Experience of using & maximising computer package Xero would be a distinct advantage Strong MS Excel required Naturally, a good communicator is needed The right person will be able to hold their own, bring fresh ideas to finance, be organised and happy to help.
