Mechanic

A well-established commercial vehicle service Centre in Finglas is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities : Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance across various service levels. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on both light and heavy commercial vehicles, as well as related machinery. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting technical specifications and documentation requirements. Maintain accurate records of work completed and progress updates daily. Keep the workspace clean, safe, and well-organized at all times. Work with a variety of commercial vehicle brands, including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, and DAF. Assist with additional workshop duties as needed to support team operations. Ideal Candidate : Minimum of 2 years experience working as a mechanic (commercial vehicle experience preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work well with both customers and colleagues. Highly organized with the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently. Friendly, approachable, and professional attitude. Dependable, detail-oriented, and adaptable with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
