Senior Civil Planner

Inform3 are recruiting for one of the largest contractors in Ireland who are currently on the lookout for an experienced Senior Civil Planner to join their commercial team.

Superior engineered solutions for the infrastructure sectors, encompassing transportation, natural resources, energy, and water.

The project they are hiring for would be a large civils project based in Kildare.

It is vital that the candidate has great communication skills both verbally and written, and have the ability to manage and build relationships between clients and internal teams.

Senior Civil Planner Job Specification :

Establish and promote best practices in health, safety, and environmental matters in collaboration with the SHQE department.

Engage purposefully and in an organized manner with team members.

Assimilate information and summarize it to effectively communicate the work scope to others.

Prepare a resourced program and review the outcome for alignment with expectations and requirements.

Contribute to the risk register and perform program risk analysis.

Create visual materials to support planned methods.

Prepare resource schedules for review purposes.

Manage personal project documentation in an orderly manner.

Perform other relevant duties as needed.

Contribute to coaching, supporting, and formally training others.

Act as a liaison to communicate planning information between all parties.

Develop a bid preparation program and contribute to the tender queries database.

Define methods and establish competitive outputs in consultation with the estimator and other team members, including the supply chain when appropriate.

Provide the required written submission materials.

Attend bid review meetings to present a clear view of the work scope and the planned delivery.

Attend handover meetings to provide a clear understanding of the work scope and planned delivery, and accept additional defined tasks.

In consultation with the Estimator, advise the project team on required feedback reports and support.

Senior Civil Planner Requirements :

Must have at least 5 years of experience in construction planning.

Proficient in both tendering and contract stages of projects.

Relevant degree in civil engineering or equivalent

Previous experience withcivil projects.

Strong understanding of the construction process and project integration.

Capable of working accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, able to foster positive working relationships at all management levels, with the ability to mentor and train others.
