Job descriptionHold a bachelor's degree in aerospace / mechanical engineering. Demonstrate proven experience as a Drafting Engineer, preferably in the aviation or automotive industry. Proficient in using 2D editor (or AutoCAD). Proficient in 3D Solid Modelling, Adobe Suite software, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Job description
ALG is offering an excellent chance for a Drafting Engineer to join a well-regarded aviation client located at Mascot Airport . As a valued team member, you will provide expert engineering guidance and exhibit sound judgment across various engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all drafted documents with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Review and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and project requirements.
- Integrate changes and modifications into existing drawings while maintaining updated versions.
- Assist in preparing precise cost estimates, project schedules, and material lists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design challenges and propose innovative solutions.
