We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Support Workers in Abbeydorney, Duagh, Listowel and surrounding areas for evening and weekend hours.

As a Home Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance to individuals who require support with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.

The successful candidate must :

Be a reliable and dependable individual.

Possess a valid and unblemished driver\'s license, with full access to a vehicle being a essential.

Exhibit a caring and kind demeanor, embracing a person-centered approach when interacting with clients.

Hold a QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, Care Skills, Care of the Older Person or an equivalent qualification, or be open to working towards obtaining one with the support of WHC.

Showcase effective communication and practical skills.

While experience in a health or social care setting is desirable, it is not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities of the role :

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Assist with light housekeeping tasks.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the well-being of clients.

Maintain accurate and timely records of client care activities.
