Part-Time Financial Accountant

Your new company An SME software company in South Dublin with global operations are seeking a qualified accountant to join their growing team on a part time basis for a 25 hour working week. They offer excellent flexibility with hybrid working with only 2 days per week in office and flexibility on start and finish times. This role will suit an experienced accountant who has good experience in management accounts production, payroll and strong communication skills. Your new role Reporting directly to the CFO, you will join a team of 3 overall in finance. Your duties will include : Preparation of monthly management accounts Processing of payroll across UK and Canada Assisting with tax compliance Collaborating with internal stakeholders to for finance query resolutions AP management Liaising with the auditor on any audit queries Assisting the CFO on ad-hoc tasks such as budgeting, forecasting or projects What you'll need to succeed This part time Financial Accountant will need to be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA / CIMA), or at least a PQ finalist at the end of their exams Very strong communication skills with fluent English as this role requires a lot of cross-departmental and regional collaboration with internal stakeholders You must have experience preparing management accounts and preparing payroll (UK payroll ideally) Experience with AccountsIQ a plus but not neccessary What you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a salary of €70,000 - €75,000 (pro rata to a 25 hour week) and benefits include a small end of year bonus, 5% pension contribution, 23 days annual leave and excellent flexibility on hours and hybrid working.
