Position Summary

NeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled  Senior Automation Engineer  to work on leading-edge automation projects, predominantly in the Energy, Life Science and Food & Beverage sectors. Experience with Siemens, Rockwell and AVEVA (Wonderware) products would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with a team of digital manufacturing / automation engineers managing and delivering projects to customer sites.
• Developing engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment and following GAMP 5 guidelines.
• Design and coding of industrial process automation solutions on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
• Production of I / O schedules
• Preparation of Functional Design specifications
• Design and configuration of user interface systems for industrial control (HMI / SCADA)
• Design of control panels and creation of panel wiring schematics
• Commissioning of control systems in the field : I / O and instrumentation testing, full testing and commissioning of automation systems
• Fault finding of control systems (PLC, HMI / SCADA, Communication Networks etc.)
• Providing design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated systems.
• Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through the use of automation and data analytics technology.
• Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments.
• Mentoring and training of graduate / junior engineers.
