Main purpose of the role :
Ensure the store`s fresh food departments operate efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service and fresh food offering at all times.
The ideal candidate will have / be :
- 2 years` experience in a Fresh Food Department is desirable
- 1 years` experience in a Supervisor / Manager role is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Good delegation skills
- An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
- Passion for fresh food.
Main duties :
Actively live Centra brand-values i.e. Proud, Energetic, Imaginative and Community-BasedOversee and ensure the smooth running of the fresh departments by prioritising and delegating the workload appropriatelySet, monitor and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Store ManagerControl stocktaking and overheads as per fresh budgetFoster good working relationships among the teamHold regular fresh food meetings and communicate relevant details and results to the teamManage employee performance, giving regular feedback, recognition and encouragementDeal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and consistent with store policyManage employee rostering and annual leave for fresh departmentsEnsure merchandising and presentation of the fresh department is of the highest standard at all times and in accordance with relevant store planograms and guidelines.
