EHS Specialist - Ireland, Cork - 12 Months Contract

Our client, responsible for developing key and revolutionary products with a thriving global presence, is recruiting an EHS Specialist to join their new project.

Responsibilities include :

Participate in safety reviews of processes and systems, providing advice on all EHS aspects during handover from construction through commissioning, qualification, and to operations.

Perform Risk Assessments.

Issue work Permits.

Review applications.

Assist in maintaining and continuously improving environment, health, and safety policies, strategies, and management systems within the organization.

Required skills :

Training and experience demonstrating a strong understanding of programs such as Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Working At Heights, Hot Work, Mobile Equipment / Vehicles, Lifting Operations, High-Risk Contractor & Construction Work, Chemical Management, Industrial Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management, and Emergency Response.

Background in pharmaceutical or biological manufacturing environments.

Ability to lead a project from start to finish by managing a cross-functional team.

Proficiency in creating presentations and conducting training independently.

Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
