Accommodation Manager Location : Dublin City University, Glasnevin Campus Company : DCU Rooms (Campus Residences DAC) Job Type : Full-time Sector : Facilities / Property Management | Hospitality About the Role DCU Rooms provides high-quality, on-campus accommodation and hospitality services across 1400 bedrooms and three campuses for students and guests throughout the year. Were currently seeking a professional, organised, and proactive Accommodation Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the upkeep and improvement of our accommodation portfolio. This is a hands-on facilities coordination role, working closely with cleaning contractors, service providers, and the internal team to deliver consistently high standards and manage minor projects across our residences. Key Responsibilities Manage small-to-medium accommodation-related projects, including : Painting and decorating quotes and coordination Minor refurbishment and maintenance works Window cleaning contracts and tendering Linen procurement, stock management, and supplier engagement Supervise the performance of external cleaning contractors, ensuring quality delivery Coordinate inspections and identify areas for improvement in rooms and shared spaces Support procurement processes and oversee tenders for relevant services and supplies Liaise with internal teams (maintenance, reception, finance) to support operational needs Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and fire regulations Weekend work is a requirement The Ideal Candidate 2+ years of experience in accommodation, facilities, or hospitality management Strong project coordination and organisational skills Proven ability to manage contractors and monitor service delivery Comfortable working with budgets and procurement processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach Familiarity with health and safety standards Essential Experience A minimum of 2 years management experience working in student accommodation, campus housing, or hotel operations Desirable Skills Knowledge of Irish public procurement procedures Relevant qualification in facilities, hospitality, or project management Experience managing outsourced cleaning staff What We Offer A dynamic role in a friendly, supportive team Variety in daily tasks and opportunities for autonomy Competitive salary based on experience Access to campus facilities and professional development opportunities How to Apply Please submit your CV and a short cover letter via the Apply Now button below.
