Project engineer - water networks

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a passion for shaping the future of Irelands water infrastructure? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established consultancy delivering some of the most impactful water network and civil infrastructure projects across the country.

As a Project Engineer, youll play a key role in the planning, design, and delivery of crucial water network schemes, including pumping stations, storage facilities, and associated civil infrastructure.

From feasibility studies and site assessments to technical evaluations, tender documentation, and stakeholder coordination.

The Project Engineer will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients, while also guiding others in preparing designs, drawings, and technical inputs.

Sample Projects : Major urban regeneration and water infrastructure upgrades - Values : €250 M €1 B.

Large-scale residential and mixed-use developments - Values : €100 M - €400 M.

Strategic water network upgrades and pumping station design - Values : €20 M €120 M.

Drainage, Su DS, and flood management schemes - Values : €10 M €80 M.

Transport and utilities infrastructure improvements - Values : €50 M €500 M.

Requirements : A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Level 8 minimum).

Strong post-graduate experience in water network design and civil infrastructure.

Excellent technical knowledge and an ability to apply it in a practical, solutions-focused way.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence liaising across teams and stakeholders.

A keen eye for problem-solving, and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple tasks.

Proficiency in industry-standard design software.

Salary & Benefits : €40k €60kdepending on experience.
