Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities : Prepare engineering drawings, including substation layouts, elevations and lightning protection zones. Create panel schematic drawings and detailed design documentation. Design protection and control schemes for HV substations. Draft and review technical specifications for electrical equipment. Carry out technical evaluations of supplier equipment proposals. Produce clear and structured technical reports. Support project delivery teams through the design, construction and commissioning phases. Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met. Note : While experience in all listed areas is preferred, we welcome applications from graduates or trainees with a strong foundation and willingness to learn. Requirements : This Electrical Engineer will require a Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Familiarity with High Voltage (HV) substation design from 10kV to 220kV. Knowledge of ESB standards (preferred but not essential). Proficiency in Eplan and AutoCAD 2D (preferred but not essential). Strong understanding of electrical protection systems and control philosophies. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
