Job Specification : Grade VI Executive Administrator Location : Dublin 8 Duration : 12 months (starting January 2025) FRS Recruitment is now recruiting for a Grade VI Staff Officer based in Dublin 8. This is a 12-month position, starting in January 2025, with the flexibility of hybrid working. The successful candidate will take on both managerial and administrative responsibilities, supporting senior management and ensuring efficient team operations. Key Responsibilities Managerial Duties Liaise with senior management to support strategic goals and service delivery. Manage staff performance, addressing under performance, and ensuring fair distribution of workload. Supervise and promote the well-being of staff, identifying and coordinating training and development needs. Establish a shared sense of purpose within the team and maintain effective team collaboration. Administrative Duties Prepare written correspondence and replies in a timely and professional manner. Collect, collate, and analyse data to produce reports, summaries, and briefings as required. Support the development of business process mapping, coordination, and revisions under senior management direction. Produce high-quality reports, presentations, and information documents using advanced ICT skills. Service Delivery Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in personal work and the work of the team. Maintain an awareness of internal and external factors, including local and national issues, that may impact service delivery. Post-Specific Requirements Proven experience in analysing and collating large volumes of data and producing summary reports using Excel or similar tools. Strong computer proficiency, with the ability to maximise the use of ICT tools. Experience in providing project management support, preferably in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, fostering a collaborative and purposeful team environment. Professional Competencies Present information in a clear, concise, and confident manner. Build strong relationships with staff and senior management. Effectively manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
