Work with some of Ireland's leading medical device manufacturers as clients Sell best-in-class automated and integrated solutions Enjoy a flexible workweek - you manage your own time Competitive salary commensurate with experience plus company car, healthcare plan, and pension Your Role : As a technical sales engineer, you will be responsible for : Converting sales opportunities and promoting technical solutions Delivering technical presentations to key decision-makers Managing the end-to-end sales process - from initial inquiry to after-sales service Building and maintaining strong relationships with engineering, operations, and procurement teams Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to company strategy Managing accounts (80%) and hunting for new business (20%) What You Need to Succeed : A technical background, ideally a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic, or electrical engineering Strong business development and project management skills Self-motivated, driven, and results-focused Excellent communication and presentation skills Full clean driving licence Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry and knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment is a plus, but on-the-job training is available for the right candidate. Your time will be spent in the office in Galway and travelling to customer sites in the Mid-West region (50% of the time). Twice a year or so, you will travel to the US for trade shows or visiting suppliers.
