Job description

Fabulous opportunity for a highly experienced Sous Chef with this top Dublin four star. This role assists in ensuring a top quality food offering and smooth daily operations in the kitchen. Key responsibilities within this role include

  • Kitchen management : rostering, purchasing, stock control, deliveries, HACCP / hygiene etc.
  • Understanding of all financial targets (GP, payroll, costs etc)
  • Team training and development
  • Collaboration with other hotels depts / managers as required
  • Ensure efficient, top quality food preparation and waste management

The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience as Sous Chef in a 4 / 5 star venue with fine dining and high-end / high-volume banqueting exposure.

In addition to excellent culinary skills, you will demonstrate solid kitchen management procedures, thorough HACCP knowledge and excellent teamwork / team leadership ability.
