Concrete foreman

Orange Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman for a reinforced concrete frame project in the Munster area.

This is a key role for someone who brings a solid background in RC frame construction, ideally having delivered structures up to five storeys or more.

You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of all concrete works on site, from foundations and vertical elements to slabs and structural cores.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of quality, safety, and productivity on a busy, active site.

Responsibilities : Oversee and coordinate all on-site reinforced concrete activities, including foundations, columns, walls, slabs, stair cores, etc.

Supervise and manage both direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality targets are met Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations, method statements, and company standards Monitor progress against the programme, identifying and addressing any delays or sequencing issues Work closely with engineers, site management, and the design team to solve technical or buildability challenges as they arise Keep accurate records of daily activities, inspections, deliveries, and labour Maintain quality control throughout all concrete works, ensuring alignment with project specifications and tolerances Coordinate with the site logistics team to ensure timely delivery of concrete, formwork, rebar, and related materials Requirements : Proven track record working as a Concrete Foreman or similar supervisory role on large RC frame projects Strong working knowledge of formwork systems, steel fixing, and concrete placing / finishing techniques Experience delivering RC frame structures up to 5+ storeys Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced, high-output environment Strong leadership and communication skills, able to give clear direction and maintain team focus Solid understanding of site health & safety protocols and statutory compliance Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail This role would suit a hands-on foreman with a no-nonsense approach, who takes pride in delivering quality work and running a tidy, safe site.

You'll be joining an established company with a strong pipeline of concrete frame and general contracting work across the Munster region.
