The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company as one of Northern Irelands long established Building Contractors with nearly 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland and UK. We are recruiting for a strong Site Engineer on a permanent basis for an upcoming project based on in North Co. Dublin, where you will take ownership & be responsible for the following key items : Key Roles & Responsibilities : Required to provide Supervision and Engineering Management on a range of projects different Residential projects. Management of Site Resources & take the lead on all associated Groundworks Packages. Commercial and technical input & liaising with Civil & Structural Design Team. Maintaining good relationships with clients & key project stakeholders. Responsible for all Setting out co-ordination and levelling duties on site of all Buildings & below ground elements such as Drainage & utility provisions. Responsible of coordinating all C+S Drawings to ensure all works are in line with the Design Construction Drawings. Proficient in reading Steel Rebar Schedules & take offs in line with the Build Programme. Work closely alongside the Site Manager & Contracts Manager for efficient running of the Project Life Cycle from start to finish. Demonstratable Experience in dealing with Local Authority Connections i.e. : Storm Water Connections into Local Authority Main line provisions. Demonstratable Experience of Irish Water (Uisce ireann) requirements for Installations & connections of new Watermain & Foul Line provisions. Demonstratable Experience in the delivery of Precast Frame Apartments & Residential Housing Schemes. Demonstratable Experience in the delivery of Setting out & levelling of RC Foundations Inc. proficient in Rebar Schedules. Demonstratable Experience with all associated below ground services such as Uisce ireann Watermain & Foul Line Installation requirements & Local Authority Storm Line (Dublin City Council), ESB, Virgin Media & OpenEir provisions. Proficient in the collation of QA Checks on-site for all Sub-Contractor Package works. Requirements : Proficient in all Setting out & levelling Equipment. Candidates should have 3+ years Site Management experience. Proficient in using AutoCAD & 3D Modelling Packages. First Aider Trained & Relevant CSR / CSCS Trainer to Site Manager Level. Ability to work on own initiative. Self-motivated and dedicated to meet weekly and monthly targets. Analytical and decision-making skills. Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Experience in Precast Concrete Residential Projects. Experience in Irish Water Regulations & Compliance Legislations. Valid Driving License. Driven Individual who has a clear sight of Career Progression.
