Education Skills

3rd level qualification or trade background with relevant experience

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Proven track record of working to strict timescales, with strong attention to detail

Excellent client facing skills

Thorough knowledge of building practices

Experience of managing large scale projects would be an advantage

Job Description And Requirements

Oversee operations on a day to day basis while monitoring and tracking progress

Inspect works in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications

Ensure work complies with building regulations and other legal requirements

Ensure Quality standards are maintained at all times

Coordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers

Maintain close contact with site team members

Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners

Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

Handle onsite incidents and emergencies proactively

Procurement of materials, supplies, tools and equipment in a time efficient manner

Requisition of materials

Create daily progress reports and communicate significant information to management

Attend daily briefings and record daily site activities

Monitor, raise and track variations on site in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager

As a Site Manager you will have

5+ years solid site experience

within the construction and building industry, preferably for a Main Contractor.

The successful candidate will have experience of working on high quality medium to large scale projects in various sectors including Industrial, Health, Pharma, Commercial, Education.
