About the Role
We are seeking to speak witha highly motivated and experienced
Project Design & Management Engineer
to join our Engineering team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful design and end-to-end project management of pharmaceutical water systems, from initial proposal through to final handover and support transition.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-impact projects that meet the strict standards of the pharma industry, while also contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of pure fluid utility systems for pharmaceutical applications
Ensure all designs meet pharma norms, GMP, GAMP, and ASME BPE standards
Support product development and compliance with health & safety regulations
Project Management :
Manage assigned projects from initiation to handover
Conduct design reviews, track milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams
Prepare commissioning plans and documentation for Service Department handover
Attend client and internal meetings to ensure smooth project execution
Monitor scope, timeline, and budget
Track and report on project costs, margins, and variations
Ensure all project changes are approved before implementation
Client Engagement :
Represent the company professionally in all project-related communications
Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong working relationships
Provide training and handbooks to clients post-installation
Documentation & Validation :
Create technical drawings (P&IDs, schematics, layouts) using AutoCAD
Produce and manage validation documentation including IQ, OQ, and commissioning records
Ensure full traceability and compliance in all project documentation
About You
Qualifications :
Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Experience & Skills :
Proven experience with pharmaceutical pure water systems and standards
Strong understanding of utility systems : RO, EDI, distillation, steam generation, etc.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and generating detailed technical documentation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of wastewater technologies is a plus
Awareness of health & safety practices across diverse work environments
