We are hiring a Staff Nurse - Medical Oncology Inpatient Unit to a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep track of patients' signs, symptoms, and behaviors, as well as their physiological condition; report any changes, suggested revisions to interventions, and expected results.
- Activate an individualized treatment plan for newly admitted patients in accordance with policy.
- Provide assigned patients with specific nurse interventions that align with the specified medical plan of care.
- Execute the admission, discharge, and transfer processes and help others with the activities and treatment of patients.
- Follow doctor's directions for all patients; give prescription drugs and treatments in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Inform the proper medical and nursing personnel of any changes in the patient's condition.
- Carry out tasks on your own and take charge of the treatment of patients you are assigned.
- Execute aseptic techniques, isolation protocols, and infection control measures correctly, or help others do so.
Requirements
A valid license as a Registered General Nurse from the Nursing & Midwife Board of Ireland (NMBI).Experience within a year of nursing registration is preferred.Experience in oncology is preferred.Exhibit the capacity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.Benefits
