An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified actuary to join a multinational insurance company based in Dublin as a Reserving Analyst – French Speaking. The successful candidate must speak fluent French and English. The position is based in Dublin and has hybrid working options.

About the Reserving Analyst – French Speaking Role

The Reserving Analyst position will report to the Reserving Team Leader and is ideal for a motivated team player.

Duties for the role include (but are not limited to) :

Calculation of reserves
Development and testing of new methodologies
Review of Technical and Reinsurance accounts
Liaise with the Solvency II team around the interpretation of results

Actuarial Skills Required

This role would suit a Part Qualified actuary with 2-3 years’ experience. Our client will consider individuals from both a Life or Non Life background and those who ideally have experience of the following :

Fluent written and spoken French and English. (Knowledge of other European languages is advantageous)

Strong IT skills are required for this role including Excel, SAS, SQL, and VBA

Knowledge of Reserving techniques is a clear advantage.
