Title : Irish Language Officer (Grade VI) (Specified Purpose Wholetime) (Reference : 501 / 2024) Brief summary of post : Working within the Communications and Marketing Function, the post of Oifigeach na Gaeilge has responsibility for ensuring that TU Dublin meets its responsibilities under the Official Languages Act, and to prepare reports for An Coimisinéir Teanga as required. The role also provides training and support for staff to develop competency in Irish so that TU Dublin can provide services through Irish and can meet our statutory obligations. The role also provides support to the Irish language student-led society, An Cumann Gaelach and supports a range of cultural and social events throughout the year. Hours of Work : 35 Location : The post will be based in the Clock Tower in Grangegorman. The university may consider flexible working arrangements.
