ABP and its affiliates employ over 14,000 people and have over 50 manufacturing plants operating across nine countries We are currently recruiting for a Divisional Lean Coordinator to join our team. As this is a divisional role the successful candidate will be able to choose to work from the site nearest to their home. . This position will involve working closely with our Lean and management teams on site to encourage and support an ongoing effort to enhance processes, products, or services through incremental changes, fostering innovation and efficiency in our business. animals breeding, nutrition, new technologies. This role will also help support and advise farmers on an everchanging environmental landscape. As a Divisional Lean Coordinator for ABP, your key responsibilities will include : Coordinate the Lean function across the divisions through regular engagement and communication with the Lean Coordinators. Assessment of lean coordinators across all sites and design a training plan individualised for each person. Visit each site in Ireland and Poland at a min of 1 day per month to run through development actions and to coach for improvements. Set up monthly Teams checkins with lean coordinators to continue engagement and drive. Organise, host and manage monthly meetings, including to document actions. Consider organising and hosting guest speakers and / or field trips for lean coordinators to increase knowledge and understanding of what is possible. Meet with CI Function Lead each month to update on lean coordinator team engagement and progress. Monthly charters submitted from Lean Coordinators for your review and feedback ahead of submission to CI Function Lead and External Consultant Calibration and review completed to ensure charters are effective and meeting required standard of information and rigor for submission. You are to become the gatekeeper. Review closed projects and put a program / implementation of these across the remaining sites present them back to the sites. Reach into the sites and ensure that projects that arent going through the lean channels are written up and shared. While on site visits each month run through update of See it Challenge it Improve it, to ensure the program is running effectively and getting appropriate attention. Coordinate an ABP Ireland and ABP Poland See it, Challenge it, Improve it, annual event where the top two projects per site compete to win an overall prize. Agree with CI Function Lead a plan to introduce Kaizen as a pilot on one site over the course of the year linked to the employee survey outcomes and improve engagement and colleague input. Consider a plan over the coming months on an equipment ownership program, piloted on one site only for 2025. Produce monthly update for Managing Director, HR Director and CI Function Lead to summarise all activities above and identify insights. Drive Group strategic projects while ensuring project paperwork (Charters & Action Logs) are meeting the required Group CI structure. Organise and provide required CI training e.g. Green Belt courses from approved provider. Create CI content and for Learning & Development sessions. Present content to specified audience. Organise and host in person events with the CI teams and create agendas Key Requirements : 23 years experience in a similar role Project management experience with a focus on developing a culture of continuous improvement. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite. Proactive, processdriven with strong time management skills. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities Skills : Lean Excel Data Analysis
