As a Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer, you will contribute across design, configuration, deployments, and operations in areas of Single Sign-On (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and IAM orchestrations.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with business and internal customers to deliver complex authentication solutions.

Expect strong debugging and issue triaging skills to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and deliver modern authentication solutions.

The team will support engineering, building, and scaling authentication infrastructure to improve IDP resiliency across platforms.

Key responsibilities and functions include delivering modern authentication solutions for B2B, B2C and B2E customers and ensuring alignment with McKesson standards.

Responsibilities

Deliver modern authentication solutions for B2B, B2C, and B2E customers using tools such as Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.

Configure and enable Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for internal and external applications.

Lead collaboration with business, application, and system stakeholders to meet authentication policies and standards.

Lead design reviews, code reviews, and quality inspections to ensure consistent engineering practices.

Perform proofs of concepts (PoCs) to evaluate technologies for organizational needs.

Provide production deployment support and on-call assistance as required.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management.

Hands-on experience developing / configuring authentication solutions using Okta or other identity solutions (e.g., Entra, Auth0).

Experience integrating SSO using protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, and WS-FED.

Extensive knowledge of authentication and authorization tokens (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML) for securing RESTful APIs and SSO integrations.

Experience integrating and federating IDM technologies across multiple domains.

Understanding of enterprise identity infrastructure and security considerations for cloud and on-prem environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot complex IAM issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience / Skills

Programming languages (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, Java, JavaScript, .NET, etc.).

Experience integrating and federating IDM technologies.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Okta, or Azure are a plus.

Education

4-year degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes base pay, with potential annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities.

The base pay range for this position is €70,500 - €117,500, aligned with McKesson\'s pay philosophy and compliant with applicable regulations.
