Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative

Role : Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative Salary : €28,000-€32,000 Location : Santry Duration : Permanent Hours : Monday-Friday Forklift Driver & Warehouse Operative Dublin-based logistics and supply chain company is actively seeking a motivated individual to join its warehouse operations team. This full-time role offers an immediate start for the right candidate, with daytime shifts from Monday to Friday. You will not only be skilled in forklift operations but to be considered you must be full certified both reach and counterbalance forklifts. You will play a key role in the safe and efficient handling of goods within the warehouse. Your responsibilities include operating both counterbalance and reach truck forklifts to manage stock movement. This involves retrieving products from high-level storage using the reach truck and loading or unloading deliveries with the Counterbalance forklift. Additional duties will include assisting the outbound team with order picking using Rf scanners, ensuring goods are accurately picked and prepared for dispatch. Responsibilities : Operate counterbalance forklifts to safely load and unload goods from vehicles and designated areas. Assist with replenishments, stock consolidations, and picking goods products from high level locations while confidently operating the reach truck. Accurately record all stock movements via Rf scanners, Support the goods in department by receiving deliveries, verifying stock, and ensuring all goods are accurately labelled. Participate in general warehouse duties as required which will include stock takes, cycle counts, and order consolidation. Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labelled, securely packaged, and meet shipping requirements. Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to management promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment by following company housekeeping procedures and standards. Requirements : Valid counterbalance forklift essential. Current Reach truck certificate licence required. Manual handling certification is preferred. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment necessary. Familiarity with warehouse management systems or handheld scanning devices is desirable.
