International Commodity Trader - Meat

Location : Naas, Co. Kildare

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and commercially driven International Commodity Trader - Meat & Protein to join a dynamic trading team in Naas. This role involves trading raw meat and meat products across all four species, in a variety of formats, with responsibility for delivering against ambitious revenue and margin targets.

You will play a central role in strengthening global customer relationships, maximising reach across multiple markets, and supporting the wider commercial strategy. This position offers extensive worldwide travel and the chance to develop within a fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver revenue and margin growth in line with agreed targets.

Build, manage, and maintain strong, profitable relationships with customers worldwide.

Implement efficient account planning, reporting, and forecasting.

Align stock and production planning with customer requirements.

Collaborate closely with procurement and cross-functional teams.

Expand reach across diverse markets and sectors worldwide.

Represent the business as a trusted supplier of high-quality protein products.

Support and mentor new talent within the trading team.

Undertake extensive worldwide travel to meet business and customer needs.

What We're Looking For

5+ years' proven sales or trading experience in the Food Sector

A successful track record of achieving commercial targets.

In-depth knowledge of the protein trading landscape.

International trading experience with strong cultural awareness.

Full driver's license and valid passport; flexibility to travel globally.

Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and planning skills.

Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.

Highly motivated, ambitious, and resilient, with strong organisational skills.
