Responsibilities / Duties of Social Care Worker :

• Assessing client’s needs and developing care plans
• Provide counselling and support and advocate for clients rights
• Contribute to the promotion, creation and maintenance of a welcoming, safe, caring, stable and therapeutic environment
• Ensure that the primary care needs of the service user are met
• Work in partnership with parents / guardians or other agencies for the benefit of the client.
• Promote physical, emotional, social, cultural, ethnic and spiritual welfare of each client
