M&E Coordinator Dublin Main Contractor | Dublin | Permanent A leading Irish main contractor is currently seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join their team on a large-scale construction project in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E professional to join an established site team and play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical works from installation through to commissioning and handover. The Role: Coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme. Review M&E drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness and buildability. Assist with the development and maintenance of M&E installation programmes. Ensure M&E works comply with relevant Irish regulations, building control requirements, industry standards and project specifications. Participate in design reviews and identify potential clashes or issues at an early stage. Liaise with design consultants to resolve technical queries and discrepancies. Monitor the quality and progress of M&E installations throughout the construction phase. Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality and workmanship standards. Review method statements, risk assessments and commissioning documentation. Act as a key point of contact between the site team, M&E subcontractors and design consultants. Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates as required. Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with M&E-related queries and technical coordination. Assist with commissioning plans, ensuring systems are appropriately tested, balanced and demonstrated. Requirements: Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction or a related discipline. Previous experience in an M&E coordination role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services. Experience working with M&E subcontractors, design teams and main contractors. Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and technical specifications. Salary & Package: €80,000 €90,000 + package, depending on experience.
