Key Responsibilities :

As Deli Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the deli, ensuring excellent customer service, high standards of food preparation, and compliance with HACCP and health and safety regulations.

You will manage rotas, train and motivate the team, monitor stock levels, control waste, and maintain accurate records.

The role also involves driving sales through merchandising and promotions while fostering a positive team environment to deliver an efficient and customer-focused service.

Requirements & Experience :

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a retail or food service environment, with a strong focus on customer service and team leadership.

Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards is essential.

You should be organised, reliable, and able to manage rotas, stock, and daily operations efficiently.

Strong communication and people management skills are required, along with the ability to drive sales and maintain high standards under pressure.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, is also necessary.
