Stores Person Annual Salary : £12.40 per hour (39 hours) + Time and a half for additional 7 hours - total hours 46 hours per week Location : Lisburn Job Type : Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a dedicated Stores Person to join our client's team in Lisburn. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient handling and management of their inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, building, collecting, and checking them before loading onto vans for dispatch. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay. Day-to-day of the role : Take orders using specific codes provided by the management. Accurately build orders according to the specifications. Collect the prepared orders from the stores. Conduct thorough checks to ensure order accuracy and completeness. Load the checked orders onto vans, ready for dispatch. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the stores area. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and meet delivery timelines. Required Skills & Qualifications : Proven experience in a similar role within a stores or warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order handling. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling. Basic mathematical skills for handling order quantities and calculations. Familiarity with inventory software or systems is a plus.
