A leading organisation is seeking an IT Operations Resilience Lead to ensure the stability, performance and availability of critical live applications. This role is ideal for an experienced technical professional who thrives on problem-solving, optimising systems, and collaborating across teams to drive continuous improvement in service availability and resilience. Responsibilities include : Provide expert technical support for live applications, ensuring agreed service levels are achieved. Monitor system performance, adjust configurations, and recommend improvements for optimum availability. Diagnose service delivery issues, initiate corrective actions, and implement preventative measures. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability evaluations, and feasibility studies with internal and external stakeholders. Review systems design, select appropriate standards and tools, and ensure adherence to enterprise policies. Contribute to testing and service acceptance processes to maintain high-quality deliverables. Support capacity planning, disaster recovery readiness, and process improvement initiatives. Requirements include : Degree in an IT-related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Min. 5 years experience in a regulated environment, balancing multiple priorities within budget and deadlines. Proven ability to investigate complex issues and deliver effective, sustainable solutions. Skilled in incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and performance optimisation. Disaster recovery and AWS experience are highly desirable. Ability to develop and implement solutions collaboratively, consolidating expertise from multiple sources. Confident in engaging stakeholders at all levels with clear communication and decision-making facilitation.
