Assistant Director of Nursing Louth nursing home opportunity A well established nursing home in Louth has an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Nursing Job Summary : As an Assistant Director of Nursing you will maintain high standard of daily care and activities in accordance with best practices within available resources. Planning, development and management will be your part of your daily responsibilities. To qualify for this fantastic role, you must have a Third level Degree in Nursing, be actively registered with NMBI and also have 3rd level Healthcare management qualification. You will also have a minimum of 3 years experience in working with older people within the last six years of your career. Qualifications : Registered on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the NMBI. Elderly Care Qualification Management Qualification Experience : Minimum of 5 years elderly care experience, which 3 should be at management level. Knowledge of the Nursing Home Industry Have a full understanding of the National Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People Have wide general nursing experience and proven leadership qualities. Have experience / qualification in / Gerontology. Evidence of consistent updating of clinical skills and knowledge Demonstrable coaching & development skills within clinical practice Competent and confident IT skills Has worked with or has a knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
