Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer Location : Galway (Hybrid) Type : Contract Your Technical Expertise :

• Strong experience with database technologies such as Snowflake and Oracle.
• Object-oriented development experience (preferred language : Python).
• Practical experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Proven ability to design and build scalable, robust ETL data flows.
• Solid design and analysis capabilities for large data platforms.
• Familiar with DevOps and CI / CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Docker).
• Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., SNS, SQS, Artemis MQ).
• Experience with job scheduling and batch processing (Control M, AWS Batch).
• Comfortable working in an agile development environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Financial services experience is preferred but not essential.
