Site Manager - Civils

Excel Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading residential developer to recruit a high-calibre Site Manager - Civils for their team in Lucan. This civils-based role is initially offered on a temporary basis (approx. one month) with a strong possibility of extension or permanent employment. It's a hands-on, site-focused position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-moving environment and enjoys taking full ownership of on-site delivery. Responsibilities for Site Manager - Civils Take full responsibility for daily site operations, overseeing the successful delivery of civils works from start to finish Report directly to the Project Manager and Senior Management on progress, challenges, and milestones Lead project teams and manage subcontractors to ensure quality output and adherence to timelines Review drawings and specifications in detail, flagging any discrepancies or omissions to the design team promptly Ensure works are carried out in line with building regulations, technical drawings, and health and safety best practices Manage compliance across Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and documentation, including tracking of safe passes, operator tickets, and machinery certifications Oversee traffic and pedestrian management plans, as required Maintain daily and weekly reporting on project progress, resource use, and subcontractor performance Engage professionally with clients and design teams throughout the project lifecycle Requirements for Site Manager - Civils Demonstrable experience managing civils projects, ideally those with logistical or programme complexities Valid Irish Driving Licence, Safe Pass, and Manual Handling as minimum requirements Additional certifications such as SLG, LUGS, or MSIC are advantageous Confident managing subcontractors, ensuring quality control and site safety compliance Comfortable working with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital reporting systems Ability to juggle multiple project demands while remaining focused on delivering results Based in or within commutable distance of the North Leinster / Midlands area Benefits for Site Manager - Civils Competitive salary with potential for extension or transition to permanent employment Opportunity to work with a respected, progressive contractor on civils-led developments Career development potential in a growing company Supportive, collaborative project team environment To learn more about this exciting opportunity, apply below or email to arrange a confidential chat.
