Energy Engineer

Senior Energy Engineer Limerick

Our client based in Limerick is recruiting for a Senior Energy Engineer to join their team.

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of sustainable, innovative and high-quality design solutions for building services systems across a variety of sector and project size.

Responsibilities

Estimating energy consumption for both new and existing projects

Knowledge of energy policy and regulatory drivers of energy efficiency across a range of project scales.

Produce equipment specifications, schedules and reports

Conduct surveys and audits

Undertake research and evaluation of new technologies, policies and services in the energy sector

Requirements

Degree educated, preferably in a related discipline e.g. mechanical, electrical or Energy & renewables

High level of understanding of building regulations

Experience and understanding of building integrated and utility scale energy systems, building energy performance and efficiency standards.

Experience in developing detailed feasibility studies

Excellent communication skills able to explain complex engineering solutions

Excellent attention to detail
