Job description12 month fixed term contract initially with a move to permanent contract on completion BI Developer required with expertise in the Microsoft BI stack to join a growing data team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI). Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into the data warehouse. Build and optimize data models, reports, and dashboards that deliver accurate and timely insights. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand KPIs, and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across BI solutions. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of existing BI systems. Stay current with BI best practices, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role. Strong expertise in the Microsoft BI stack : SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI, SQL Server. Advanced SQL skills, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks).
